The Spirit House contains so much love and information and I can't wait for you to dive in! But wait, let's go over a few things first...


Use this information wisely + challenge it often

As you begin to dive into this information and get dirty, it's important to keep a few things in mind. The first is that the contents of the Spirit House just grace the surface of the complexity of the mind-body-spirit-nature relationship, and wellness in general. It would be ignorant for any of us to assume that this is a 100% comprehensive resource! There will be pieces missing, and that is okay. Nothing is, or ever should be perfect. This is a work in progress and a labor of love. It will become more refined as more love and time is poured in to this project--just as you will too.

With that being said, please do not get hung up on the details of these writings. There is so much information in The Spirit House and the rest of the Land + Spirit Project. It can feel very overwhelming at times. Don't be held hostage to the idea that you have to get it all right the first time or learn everything in a matter of days. The Spirit House and the Land + Spirit Project in general are designed as a resource for you to return to time and time again. Like nothing in nature, this isn't a quick fix. Continuing on that note, go reeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaallllllyy slow through the Spirit House. At first glance it may seem like this material is simple and easy, but when you truly take the time to integrate it all deeply, it can take some serious time. The bonus is that the most effective learning happens slowly! When you start a module, really take the time to absorb it, refine it, make it your own, and see how you utilize it in your life before moving on to the next module. Do not start a module until you feel ready to study and assimilate that topic. Skip topics if you feel the need. Know that the words or topics that don't grab your attention right now may be the thing you are yearning for a weeks from now. Be gentle with yourself, and be gentle with this material. 

That being said, I do want to take a moment to make note that none of the information written amongst these virtual walls is meant to be diagnostic, a treatment plan, or any interpretation of medical advice. Please work closely with your healthcare team before making any changes, and never use my word as the final say. Be smart, use this information wisely, and it will serve you and the next generations to come.
